For 3.5 inch IDE or Serial ATA hard disk drives. This external enclosure can connect to your USB or IEEE 1394 firewire ports. Convert Any Standard 3.5'' IDE or SATA Hard Drive to USB 2.0 or Firewire 400 or SATA Port.

Made of sturdy aluminum with operating LED's for task indication, this external enclosure uses the Chipset PL3507 & JMicron JM20330 for controlled operation.



The CG3500XLS enables you to convert any 3.5 inch IDE or Serial ATA hard drive to USB 2.0 or IEEE1394 Firewire via its built in USB and Firewire ports.

Most drives are supported but our in-house tests using WD800/WD1600/WD2500 IDE drives have failed when used with firewire. All Western Digital, Hitachi, Maxtor, Seagate, Samsung SATA I or SATA II Drives Work Perfectly.
