This high capacity disk storage Enclosure for SATA or SATA II Hard Drives offers ease of use with no software installation for Windows XP and Mac OS X users - just plug it in and you're up and running.

Supports all Brands of New SATA II Drives 160GB/200GB/250GB/300GB/320GB/400GB/500GB/750GB/1,000GB and 1.5TB. Oxford 924 Firewire Chip (very Fast).

The DB-M12O combo enclosure is equipped with one eSATA, one USB 2.0, and two FireWire 800 connectors, and provides even more flexible connectivity with FireWire repeater functionality.



Designed for power users and professionals, DB-M12O provides a versatile combination of 1394b FireWire 800, eSata, and USB 2.0. For additional flexibility, a 6-pin to 9-pin FireWire cable is included, which allows the drive to be connected to a standard 1394a FireWire 400 port.

The unit is equipped with the industry's best Oxford 924 chipset, which is approved by Apple, Avid and many other audio and video manufacturers.

In addition, the vented aluminum housing protects your data by maintaining optimum temperature for HDD operation.

Finally, the HDD spin down feature ensures efficient operation by reducing power consumption. When your computer enters sleep mode, the hard drive spins down to minimize power consumption. The hard drive spins up automatically when the host system wakes up.

    The hybrid DB-M12O also offers a shielded external SATA cable enabling high speed SATA data transfer between the DB-M12O enclosure and any desktop computer that supports SATA. The DB-M12O further enhances flexibility with the provided 6-pin to 9-pin FireWire cable for connecting the DB-M12O to the FireWire 400 port of any notebook or desktop computer.
